Happy Monday!
I share a lot of secondhand finds on here that take quite a bit of time to research, and sometimes a lot of patience and luck. I wanted to share more looks and pieces that are new and more available to everyone so you can shop the same or similar pieces. Today I'm sharing an entirely brand new look with high quality pieces that all cost me under $50! Keep scrolling!
J. Crew White Wrap Top [new, $5] Banana Republic Skinny Ankle Jeans [new, $15] Banana Republic Suede Block Heel Sandals [new, $0] Leith Three Tone Bag [new, $25]
I know I've talked about this before, but I LOVE Banana Republic jeans. I try to avoid the 100% cotton ones and look for the pairs that include spandex or another stretchy material because, well, ya know. I have jeans from BR that I've had for years and still hold their shape. I've linked the skinny ankle pair that I'm wearing above. Im between 26/27 jean and went with the 26 for these because BR tends to run on the bigger side. I picked these up through an online sale for only $15!
I love a classic ballet wrap top, so when I came across this top on 60% clearance at J. Crew I scooped it up right away! I mean for $5, how can you go wrong? I have so many colors. J. Crew is currently having another 60% off clearance sale, so I've linked wrap tops above that you can also shop!
I had my eye on this Leith bag from Nordstrom for a while, and loved the neutral classic combination of colors that would make it easy to mix and match between outfits. And as you can see from other pieces from Leith, this seems to be their style of bags. I've used this bag a number of times over the past few months and find the quality very good. Unfortunately I could not find the same bag, but I have shared a couple of other neutral and statement bags from Leith, some that are on clearance.
You probably thought the $0 for these shoes I posted above was a mistake, but believe it or not I got them completely free! As previously mentioned, I have a Banana Republic credit card that I use as much restraint with as possible to collect points and rewards to spend at Banana Republic, Gap, Old Navy, and Athleta. For this particular purchase, I had a $15 reward. With clearance discounts, that was enough to let me bring these shoes home for nothing else! There aren't many sizes left in these shoes on the BR website, but I've linked a few other cute block heel sandals above.
If you're interested in hearing more about my experience with store credit cards, you can read that blog post HERE.
A few weeks in and I LOVE this watch band. It looks so much like the Hermes watch band, but is a very small fraction of the price! I've linked that below in case you are looking to upgrade your own band, it comes in a variety of colors and is only $25 with free shipping!
Thanks so much for reading! You can shop any of the items above by just clicking the picture which will take you straight to the store's website. I have also updated the blog's "shop my looks" page above that is linked directly to my liketoknowit page that makes it super easy to navigate to shop the outfits I share!

Happy Monday! I know I've been a little MIA on the blog, but I've been so busy on the boutique and the "reselling 101" section of Fancy Free (check it out above!). Plus I went on a mini vacay to help my brother move into college so there is that *cry face* But I've been trying to be as active as possible on IG (follow me if you're not doing that already!) and thought I would share all the deets on my outfits in my recent posts and how I got everything so cheap! Keep scrolling! Dress: I LOVE this dress! I seriously feel like Cinderella every time I wear it. It's so flowy and comfy but classic and a tad sexy. It is actually from the Xhiliration juniors brand from Target, which I don't usually pick up. But I tried on this $12 clearance dress and just had to have it! Bag: The bag is a Goodwill find during one of my local Goodwill's $1 tag days. It is Ralph Lauren and 100% leather, so it is such a sturdy bag! It had barely been worn, however some of the material around where the strap and bag connect is coming apart so I will be taking it in to be fixed. Aside from that it was such an amazing deal for a bag that regularly retails between $200-$300! Shoes: These Banana Republic slip on wedges are another Goodwill find for $6! (Sounds like a lot to me when I am used to picking up $1 items, I almost put them back thinking they were "too much!") They are so comfy and easy to wear. They are just as easy to put on as flip flops, but really elevate an outfit! Sunglasses: You guys have seen these quite a bit, I think they are just so classic! I got them from Off 5th (where Saks items that don't sell go) brand new for $160. Yes pricey, but they are so well made, go with everything, and were originally over $400! Sometimes you have to pay more for items that last. Dress: I am LOVING wrap dresses lately because they are classic, so easy to wear, and aren't so tight that you feel uncomfortable. This dress I found at the Banana Republic Factory Store that was marked down on clearance to $30. There was an additional 30% off clearance and I also had a $5 reward from my BR credit card, so this cute floral piece only set me back $15! Shoes: These navy suede Nine West bootie heels are perfect for a date night! These are a thrifted item that I just recently got from the Salvation Army. I originally picked these up for $3 to resell, but they fit like a glove so here we are. My Salvation Army doesn't always have the greatest selection of shoes, but they are all priced at $3 so when I do find a cute pair I scoop them up! Sweater: This sleeveless Tahari sweater vest was a Goodwill find! I found it during my local Goodwill's $1 tag day, and as so many items in my closet it was intended to be resold but c'est la vie. I love this as a transitional piece into Fall because it is sleeveless so not too warm but still gives a cozy autumn vibe! Jeans: Target really came through on these jeans! I had been looking around for a pair of cropped, high waisted jeans because they are classic and add some sophistication to an outfit. These are from the A New Day line and were on clearance for $14. I also got 5% because I have the Target Red debit card. Top: This black Ann Taylor top is so soft and cute (those flare sleeves!) and is super transitional so I wear it dressed up or down quite often. Another $1 Goodwill tag day find! Shoes: These Steve Madden platform sandals were thrifted from Savers for $15. I don't loooove Savers because they try to do my job and price up items depending on their brand. But these were practically brand new and for my own closet that price is quite good. They add some sexiness to an outfit with the height but are so easy to wear. Bag: Okay you have probably seen a lot of this Goyard tote bag that I got from Savers for $6. I had never heard of this brand before so you can imagine my shock when I looked up the comps! I shared some about in on my IG stories, and I had all intentions of selling it but once I knew how fancy it was I just didn't have the heart to. Sunglasses: I've shared a lot about these beautiful Chanel cat eye boy sunglasses, but if you are new: I won them within the last ten seconds of an eBay auction (yes I'm that jerk) for $30! Thats like 1/15th the retail price. It didn't come with the box and have a few minor scratches but for that price how could you not?? Top: This t-shirt was my FIRST EVER Burberry find at a thrift shop! And yeah it was my size so it's mine. It is in perfect condition without staining or pilling. You can't see so well in the photo, but it has the classic Burberry nova check around the neckline. It was only $5! Blazer: This blazer was one of the first items I bought off of Poshmark. It is H&M and I paid $20. I love the nautical theme of the jacket (anchors on the buttons) and that the color goes so well with practically any other color. I can throw this on over a t-shirt or tank and it automatically upgrades my outfit! Skirt: I think this skirt is the first thing in this post I bought at a store that wasn't a thrift or factory store. Shocker! But, I did purchase it for a really great deal. Gap was having a deal at the time that offered anything in the store buy one get one for half off. Even clearance! I picked up this skirt and a sweater for $15, putting this skirt at only $7.50 brand new! Top: I love this Banana Republic factory top because I think the style is just very classic + so easy to wear. I actually got this top for $0 (!!) after utilizing a $10 when the top was already on clearance for less than $10. So with taxes I paid nothing! Pants: These navy ankle pants are fantastic because they are timeless and go with so much plus they are stretchy and comfy like I'm wearing leggings. Win win! Shoes: Aside from the previously mentioned Gap skirt, these were also bought at a "regular" store. I picked these up at Nordstrom Rack for $50, which does sound like more than I typically spend for pretty much anything but they are really a wardrobe staple that goes with everythinggg. I like the block heel because it is preppy but also so easy to walk in. I get so many compliments on them! Bag: So the jury is still out regarding whether this beautifullll bag is legit Hermes. I found it at a thrift store for $4. Maybe that should be my first clue? Anyway, it just looks and feels (and smells!) real and instead of getting it authenticating I like to walk around with it feeling special than find out the truth. Hi there! With my reselling business I have found myself in thrift stores 1000x more than I ever used to shop them! As you guys have probably seen, most of my super cheap items have come from eBay, but now that I scour every rack in a thrift store every other day I have been finding a lot more awesome items for my own wardrobe! Ralph Lauren Wool Cashmere Sweater [secondhand, $1] Banana Republic Scallop Shorts [new, $15] Tory Burch Red Flats [new, $140] Louis Vuitton Cross Body [secondhand, $100] Banana Republic Bangle [new, $6] Rayban Aviators [new, $90] Outfit Total: $356 I pulled this classic Ralph Lauren wool cashmere sweater off the racks at Goodwill and knew it was going straight into my closet and would never see eBay! GOODWILL TIP: Ask your local Goodwill if they have any special sales or dollar days on a specified day during the week! I scored this Ralph Lauren goodness on a Thursday, when my local Goodwill has a color tag $1 sale. Most Goodwill stores tag their items with a certain color tag, and then every week is a specified tag color for 50% off that color tag for the whole week. My local Goodwill down the street will have the weekly color tags for $1 on Thursdays and you know when I show up! That was how I was able to snag this *once super expensive* sweater for practically nothing! You might think I'm crazy for wearing a sweater in California during June but it actually gets quite chilly during the night time! Aside from being colorfully patriotic, I like this sweater + shorts combo for Independence Day because we usually head to the coast for fireworks and by the time the sunsets the temperature can really drop! It's the perfect combo from beachy day to night. Thanks so much for visiting my site! I would love to hear about your own Goodwill tips and/or exciting + cheap thrift finds! Hi everyone! I recently wore this outfit out for a date night with hubs to the Packing House in Anaheim. If you live in the socal area and have never been, excuse me why not?! If you like food (and who doesn't??) this is the place for you. ANYWAYYY This date night #ootd was really a mixture of everything from mid end Marshalls finds to high end cashmere Burberry (and each for the same price, I'm good at what I do y'all.) Keep scrolling for the outfit deets! Delias (Marshall's) White Fringe Jacket [new, $20] Burberry Cashmere Sweater [secondhand, $20] Banana Republic Light Wash Jeans [new, $25] Nordstrom Rack Strappy Heel Sandals [new, $15] Burberry Tortoise Cat Eye Sunnies [secondhand, $35] Louis Vuitton Cross Body [secondhand, $100] I picked up this preppy fringe jacket at Marshalls when I was supposedddd to be sourcing for my thrift business. It was yellow tag clearance (which means lowest price discount) and I scooped it up trying to tell myself I'll resell it but I'm really a sucker for neutral, lightweight jackets so here we are. **No joke just googled Delias for blog post research and the tag line for this brand is "funky and fun clothing for pre-teen and teen girls" WHAT IS WRONG WITH MEEE This pretty burgundy color has been very popular lately, and I especially like it as high end cashmere. ;) I bought this Burberry sweater about two years ago on eBay for a killer deal. There is a cute little black Burberry plaid stitched-on emblem on the bottom right of the sweater that you can't see in the photos, but it was hanging on by only one thread and there was some pilling on the sweater so that is why I think the seller was very lenient with the best offer I sent to them. (As a reseller myself, I find that super lazy because I stitch stuff up and defuzz items all the time because it takes seconds and you can sell it for so much more!) Better for me, I stitched and defuzz-ed the item myself and it is like new! I would just like to point the real MVPS...these no name sandals I bought at Nordstrom Rack probably 5 or 6 years ago. Not only have they held up like a champ but I can literally wear them for hours without any pain AND they go with everything! The moral of the story is that price is not always a great indicator of quality. Thanks for reading lovelies :* Stay on the lookout for a new blog post this weekend for my eBay vs Poshmark SELLER post!
Happy Saturday! Last weekend was a quick getaway to Kansas City for my cousin's wedding, and I went with a neutral and comfy look with a few new pieces I recently added to my wardrobe. Scroll for all the details! Banana Republic [new, $40] Banana Republic Tri-Color Chunky Heels [secondhand, $18] Rebecca Minkoff $50] Bauble Bar Black Earrings [new, $12] Chanel Cat Eye Sunnies [secondhand, $30] I LOVE me a sweater dress, they are just so comfy and non constricting (looking at you pants) I found this maxi dress just a few days before we left for the wedding on the clearance rack at Banana Republic. The detailed neckline and long length gives this piece an elegant look that is more appropriate for a wedding than your typical sweater dress. After 30% off clearance and a reward I got this dress for 1/4 of the retail price! These shoes are also Banana Republic but I found them through Poshmark. The heels are hard to see, but they are a black chunky heel. I have been loving the chunky heel lately because they give your outfit a retro look with also adding more support (even though I totally had to change shoes for the reception to get my groove on) Plus the nude cap toe is timeless! They were barely worn and I reeled these in for under $20. I actually panicked the morning of the wedding because the humidity was just not gelling with my hair and I had no idea what to do with it! This look was super easy and stayed the whole night. After curling my hair with a straightener (and noticing how limp it was) I pulled my hair back with a hair tie and secured it with three loops. I parted my hair into a line directly over the middle of the tie (important), created a clean hole with the line, and used the weight of the hair to flip it all through. I secured the hair tie with a bobby pin and voila! I loved the way it curled back from my ears to the ponytail, and it held throughout the entire ceremony and reception. So easy!
