Ugh you guys I have been TOTALLY living in these shoes since I got them last month! They are so comfy, the colors go with everything, and did I mention they are CHANEL?? I think a pair of neutral designer flats are such a great investment because they will last you forever and make any outfit look more polished. However, a pair of these Chanel leather cap toe flats new are *quite* the investment...a nearly $800 investment (see here!) I have been looking at secondhand pairs of these shoes for a while. When graduation hit and I received a few monetary congratulatory gifts, I immediately started narrowing my searches. I had saved this pair on Poshmark a while back, and when I got the notification that the price had dropped to $150, I knew they had to be mine! Shopping smart on Poshmark is very similar to eBay. Across both sites there is not authenticity guarantee, so you really want to do your research before making an offer to anyone. Ask for more pictures and look at the other items the seller has listed. If they have other "designer" items for sale that just look off, air on the side of caution and assume the one you are interested is off as well. If their closet is full of designer items with pictures of tags, serial numbers, etc., they are more likely a seller you can trust. J. Crew Dress [new, $15], Chanel flats [secondhand, $150], Rebecca Minkoff bag [new, $55], Chanel sunglasses [secondhand, $30] The dress is a recent purchase, and if you read my recent blog post (check it out here if not!) you will know that I am totally obsessed with any item of clothing that ties up. I really don't know what it is about a piece of string that makes me love it so much! Anyway, once I saw this dress in the J.Crew sale section for an extra 50% off, it was done-so. Headband: re-purposed Tiffany and Co. box ribbon While this post was intentionally supposed to focus on my yummy new shoes, I can't help but mention to my fellow SoCal residents about the French amazing-ness that is Pandor Artisan Boulangerie and Cafe in Newport Beach! It is a totally adorable little spot near the coast offering authentic and DELICIOUS French baked goods and entrees. What you don't see in this picture is the large amount of food pushed to the side so everyone doesn't find out what a total pig I am. #realtalk I definitely recommend for anyone in the area craving a life-changing macaron.
Thank you for reading lovelies, and definitely let me know what you think in the comments below!
