Hi there lovelies!
I recently scored a totally retro-cute Burberry skirt and wanted to share! The high waist and midi length gives a total 50's vibe and is so cute for summer time dressed up or down. Keep scrolling to see how I styled it for a more laid back look!
Burberry High Waist Skirt [secondhand, $27] Ralph Lauren Polka Dot Top [new, $18] Gucci Brown Suede Loafers [secondhand, $60] Louis Vuitton Cross Body Bag [secondhand, $100] Burberry Tortoise Cat Eye Sunnies [secondhand, $30]
Outfit Total: $235
I purchased this skirt through one of my favorite platforms: eBay! One of my favorite eBay techniques is sorting for "ending soonest" when I search one of my favorite brands, and see what has been sleeping! This skirt was definitely on snooze. It was at auction with no bids! I waited down the clock and purchased with the first bid of the item and scored it for under $30, PLUS free shipping!
LOVE this Ralph Lauren top with peplum sleeves for summer. I originally purchased this shirt on clearance from Marshalls to resell because polka dots are super hot right now, but I tried it on at home and that was the end of it's reselling potential.
It's been two years since I bought this Louis Vuitton cross body bag (on eBay, duh) but it looks the exact same as when I bought it. Such a good investment piece for an everyday bag. Plus high end logos are super hot right now so I am also on trend! Nailed it.
Loafers aren't traditionally worn with skirts and dresses, but I have been trying to mix these items more and I like the result! It gives an old school, vintage casual feel to my outfits that I'm digging. These vintage Gucci loafers were a Poshmark find that I got for $60!
As always, thanks so much for reading! Later this week I will be sharing my views on different platforms for buying cheap high end items, so make sure to check back!
