When most people think of Napa, they imagine vineyards and wine tastings. But when you get through the country, you will find the most photogenic downtown with the inspirations of a large city but a personable small town feel. I spent the day exploring this area of Napa with my mom, and we were incredibly awed! Faux fur sweater vest [new, $20], Banana Republic top [new, $10], Banana Republic jeans [new, $40], Gucci belt [secondhand, $25], Gucci flats [new, gift], Louis Vuitton crossbody [secondhand, $100], Gucci scarf [new, gift], Rayban wayfarers [new, gift] How charming is the First Street Bridge? Stretching over a (lower than usual) river (thanks CA drought), the bridge is lined with lamp posts and gives great views of the historic buildings. Pictures were a MUST. "What's that over there?" ;) We visited the Oxbow Public Market, an indoor market with a variety of vendors including fresh produce, a coffee shop, a butcher, and an oyster bar. High quality, clean, and a lot to offer. One word: SAMPLES. Once we got hungry, we headed over to central downtown and found Bounty Hunter Wine Bar & Smokin' BBQ. Right on the water, we could smell it before we saw it. I like wine and I love BBQ, so I was totally on board. Cajun shrimp wedge salad. Artistic AND delicious. :D We couldn't come home empty handed, so we picked up a few delicious treats from Kara's Cupcakes, a Bay Area bakery chain. Pro Tip: Coconut cupcake is WHERE IT IS AT. It was fun sharing such a memorable day with you all, and I look forward to sharing our next adventure within the next few days!
