This is not a drill! With OUT a doubt this has been my most exciting fancy find...probably ever. I've been researching second hand Burberry trenches for practically a lifetime, and came across this piece sent from heaven (well, actually eBay...) This khaki-colored goodness features Burberry embossed buttons and leather detailing. Typically starting at $300, this particular piece only put me back $80! Burberry trench [secondhand, $80], Banana Republic dress [secondhand, $10], Nordstrom heeled sandals [new, $15], Louis Vuitton cross body bag [secondhand, $100] Too good to be true, right? Well, if it makes you feel any better, the coat did not come with its original belt. I got in contact with Burberry about a replacement and quickly realized it was going to cost an arm and leg to get this tiny piece of material. (I'm not THAT big Burberry!) So I'm currently on the internet hunt for a single matching Burberry trench belt. So far, no luck. But, I mean, I found a Burberry trench for double digits. Trust I'll come across something eventually. Even though the cost of this trench was a small fraction of the retail price, you still have to be smart when buying an item you can't see in person. For this particular item, I asked for additional pictures of the jacket, including a picture of the inside tag. I always Google the item number to ensure it actually matches the right product. This is a good way to ensure the piece you are buying is authentic. Honestly, the entire fancy free hiatus I have just been SO excited to share this crazy find with you guys! Be prepared to see this trench in practically every post to follow!
Thanks so much for reading, and as always leave a comment or drop a message to let me know what you think and what you would like to see!
