Black booties are a versatile wardrobe staple that can be dressed up or down, and I can't believe I got mine at such a great deal of $29 at Marshalls! They are suede, intentionally distressed around heels and toes, and feature cute double zippers. Sadly they were the very last pair at the Marshalls I went to and I haven't seen them at any other location, but I've found these $200 booties on sale elsewhere for as low as $59! PLUS everything ships for free over $50! I'm thinking about snagging a brown pair because they are just so well made and go with everything. I've found they run true to size so make sure to order your regular size. Just click the pictures below to shop!

In honor of the best day of the week, I am celebrating with a list of my top five favorite things at the moment! Enjoy! 1. tv show YoungerThis show is so stinkin' cute! I had heard good things about it for a while, but it is a TV Land original, so I was a little iffy. But trust when I say this show is an adorable way to escape for 30 minutes. In a nutshell, the premise is that this 40 year old divorcee mom is trying to gt back into the world of publishing, but no one wants to hire her because of her age. She decides to reinvent herself as a 26 year old and hilarity ensues as she constantly tries to keep up the charade. Definitely a must see! 2. Fall DrinksFall is definitely in the air (even currently in SoCal!) so that means dark evenings, crisp air, and a warm beverage. I know everyone loves the pumpkin spice (I do too!) but there are other equally wonderful delicious and fall-ish flavors to try. A personal favorite of mine is the Maple Pecan iced coffee from Dunkin Donuts. We have been blessed by the Dunkin gods to have one built SUPER close to our house, and I take advantage of it constantly. If you are on the East Coast, or lucky enough to have one near you on the West Coast, this drink is definitely a fall must try! 3. Weekend Happy HourAs the hubs and I have been very busy with work and travel lately, we have been on the hunt for yummy weekend happy hours the past few weeks, but they are definitely not easy to find. Most happy hours are only during week days, as those are the least busiest times. However, we have found some success. One particularly great weekend happy hour is at Paul Martin's. They have happy hour every day from 3-7pm in the bar, and it includes a long list of $6 wines, cocktails, beers, and appetizers. They also have $13 entrees that include alcohol! Definitely a must try the next time you are scouring for decent happy hour. 4. l'occitane hand creamWhat your mother told you was true. Your hands DO show the first signs of age. That is why I have become obsessed with L'Occitane products. They are a french body products company that makes a number of items, their most popular being hand creams and butters. They go on so smooth, are not oily at all, and your hands are left feeling so soft. A small tube goes for around $12, so it is not the cheapest hand creme, but I definitely think the results have been worthwhile! 5. All things ginghamAs I have mentioned in other posts, I'm not a huge fan of Target clothing. It is not always made with the highest quality materials, so after a few washes you find the items worn out and pilled. But when I mozied past the clearance rack, I couldn't find the strength to put this jacket back! The gingham is perfectly adorable for fall, it is made with 100% cotton, and it was only around $10!! That first week I got it I wore it three times...no shame in the gingham game!
It's almost 2017, and I just want to say thank you to all of you that have supported me through this adventure! Fancy Free has been so much fun for me, and has grown more in the past few months than I ever expected! I am so excited to see what happens in this new year, but before that, I want to look back at a few of my favorite finds since Fancy Free began back in June. Enjoy! 1. Jimmy Choo Pumps I Paid $60 |
