This weekend was such a blur! B had a last minute job in the Pacific Northwest, and I got the always fun "want to do Seattle this weekend?" text. The next day we were on a plane headed North! I'm super grateful that I can travel with the hubs whenever he has work out of the town. But the best part is that we never have to pay for my ticket! Since he travels so much for work and always flies the same airline (Southwest), he has accumulated a lot of points. So many in fact that he reached companion pass level last year! Whenever he flies, I have a seat next to him for free. It definitely pays to remain loyal to one airline when you fly, instead of floating from one to the other for the cheapest ticket. We have saved thousands of dollars on plane tickets, plus he gets great perks like priority check in, early boarding, and free drinks. So much win! While poor hubs had to work the whole weekend, I got the chance to enjoy Downtown Seattle, one of my favorite areas. I walked the piers to watch the sunrise (before the hoards of tourists) and peruse through Pike Place Market before heading up to window shop through the flagship Nordstrom store. It is four floors of beauty and perfection that I can't resist strolling through everytime I am in the area! This weekend also gave me an excuse to tryout a few new pieces I acquired recently. If you follow me on social media, you had probably seen the hubby and I gallivanting across the East Coast a couple weeks ago. This was a trip we had planned for months to attend my best childhood friend's wedding and enjoy some delicious Florida sunshine. Keep scrolling to read where we went, what we did, and some of my favorite outfit details! First Stop: Nashville, TNOur first stop was the green and beautiful Tennessee! The first few days of vacay were spent taking part in bridal party activities and preparing my bestie for her wedding day. :) After the festivities B and I headed to Nashville (first time ever there!) to experience the capital of country music. For things to do in Nashville, I would highly recommend going out on Broadway! Even on a Sunday night, there was so much going on. The buildings were lined with rooftop bars and live country music was coming from everywhere! It definitely made me feel a little more country. ;) Banana Republic Bell Sleeve Top [new, $15], Express Mini Skirt [new, $15], Banana Republic Suede Booties [new, $20], Louis Vuitton Crossbody [secondhand, $100], Rayban Aviators [new, $90] |
