You know that pair of jeans that makes you feel good + look great? These are those jeans for me! I've been loving the exposed button fly look (so retro!) but I also need a high rise, skinny silhouette because I think it is such a flattering look. I was so excited to find these on the thrift racks in my size recently!
It took months to find these jeans in my size, so I've linked below a number of similar pairs that are on super sale! Those Madewell jeans have a fun exposed hem detail, and are half off! It is so hard to find simple, classic Madewell jeans on sale, plus they have them in stock in all sizes!

If you follow any blogger whatsoever, you will know the Nordstrom Anniversary N Sale has been going on the past few weeks for Nordstrom credit card holders. Ya girl does not have an Nordstrom card (WAY too dangerous!) so when the sale opened up to everyone yesterday I went in to see what they still have in stock, what I think is actually a good deal, and what I overall think are good pieces to pick up!
I usually like to buy higher end or trendy pieces secondhand, but for classic wardrobe staples I think it is better to buy these new since you wear them often, so you will see a lot of wardrobe staple pieces below. You can shop everything by clicking directly on the pics. And remember Nordstrom has free returns + shipping!
Tops & Sweaters Under $45
Bottoms Under $40
Jewelry Under $30
Shoes Under $60
Bags Under $75
Sunnies Under $50
My favorite/super easy outfit combo lately has been tank top + high waisted jeans and when I came across these bodysuit/leotards at Nordstrom Rack I picked up one to try it out. I like a clean, simple look and it was kind of a pain to keep track of my tank top to make sure it was always tucked in. Turns out I LOVED the bodysuit and went back to Nordstrom Rack to pick up every other color they have!
BP Black Tank Bodysuit [new, $14] Gap High Rise Skinny Crop Jeans [new, $15] Shein Golden Goose Sneaker Dupes [new, $30] Vintage Gucci Belt [secondhand, $25] Chanel Oversized Sunglasses [secodhand, $30] Longchamp Tote Bag [new, gift]
Outfit Total: $114
Why I loved this bodysuit so much?
- The low square neck adds a really feminine silhouette
- The sides of the bodysuit and the thickness of the straps make it so easy to hide a bra
- The bottom is a thong so no panty lines!
- The material is stretchy but doesn't stretch out
Some colors are even cheaper online than the ones I picked up in store, you can shop them below by clicking directly on the stock photos! I definitely recommend picking up a few, plus when you spend $50 at Nordstrom rack you get free shipping! I'm a size 2/4 and picked up a size small which fits great, so it's pretty TTS.
The Gucci belt is a TheRealReal find from a couple years ago, but I've linked a few below that TRR currently has in stock. Remember that when you register an email to make an account with them you get $25 off your order, plus they currently have a discount going on for an extra 20% off!
I've had these Gap jeans for over a year now and they are such a such great wardrobe staple. I find high rise jeans so flattering on so many body types, plus they are cropped which I love. I'm 5'8" and in between a regular and tall size, so I don't have to worry about awkward length jeans with these. They are currently on sale below!
Lastly, the Golden Goose sneaker dupes I can NOT stop wearing! They are super comfortable and I wear them for long thrifting/sourcing days. Plus they look so similar to the originals at a super small fraction of the price. Some are currently as low as $14! I might pick up a second pair...
Black booties are a versatile wardrobe staple that can be dressed up or down, and I can't believe I got mine at such a great deal of $29 at Marshalls! They are suede, intentionally distressed around heels and toes, and feature cute double zippers. Sadly they were the very last pair at the Marshalls I went to and I haven't seen them at any other location, but I've found these $200 booties on sale elsewhere for as low as $59! PLUS everything ships for free over $50! I'm thinking about snagging a brown pair because they are just so well made and go with everything. I've found they run true to size so make sure to order your regular size. Just click the pictures below to shop!
If you are somebody that follows traditional fashion rules...we are well into the very short white clothing season! THE summer wardrobe staple = white pants. My favorite is a classic white skinny jean! They go with any other color, and can be dressed up or down. I would definitely consider these a staple, because I ruined my only pair last year and only recently updated my wardrobe with a new pair!
This pair of white skinny jeans are Madewell. Madewell is a great brand for very well made classic, wardrobe staples that can be typically found in Nordstrom. This particular pair retail for $128 (similar pair HERE). I found my own pair for a fraction of the price at $30!
*Poshmark Tip* When you bundle items from the same seller, not only do you get combined shipping but most sellers also offer a multi-item bundle discount, and are also typically more lenient to offers because they are moving more items at once! I bundled this pair of Madewell white jeans along with a pair of Vince jeans, and both were listed at $60 a piece. I bundled the two jeans together, and sent an offer of $60 for BOTH as a starting point. I was shocked to find that the seller accepted my offer within a few minutes! Together, both jeans retail new for around $300. Total score!
Banana Republic Tan Wool Sweater [new, $30] Madewell White Skinny Jeans [secondhand, $30] Chanel Ballet Flats [secondhand, $190] Rebecca Minkoff Black Crossbody [new, $55] Chanel Oversized Sunglasses [secondhand, $30]
I'm also linking a few different options of white skinny jeans at each price point if you are looking to update your own wardrobe!
