It may still be warm in most of the US, but it's almost October and I am SO excited for cooler temps and cute, fall clothes! I've been slowly trying to incorporate more jackets and accessories into my outfits and I recently did a *little* online shopping at Banana Factory outlet (major sales going on + rewards!) and Poshmark to add a few classic pieces that are great for mixing and matching to make for easy + cute autumn outfits! Keep scrolling to see all the details :) High Waist Dark Wash Skinny JeansBanana Republic Factory, $16 Dark wash jeans are a great way to add some darker hues into your outfits! These are perfectionnn because they hit perfectly at the ankle, are high waisted (great for hiding a large meal), and are so stretchy! I always look for pants that have under 75% cotton, they are more likely to fit you tightly while still having give without getting too stretched out. You can shop them HERE! Nude Pointy Toe FlatsBanana Republic Factory, $17 Brown is always a great color to add for a more festive fall look! These are so classic and go great with the previously mentioned dark ankle jeans or a cute dress + scarf. I am a lover of classic flats...a girl can never have too many! You can shop them HERE! Ralph Lauren Navy Oversized BlazerPoshmark, $11 (with shipping) I've been on the lookout for a high quality navy oversized blazer and was so excited to stumble across this Ralph Lauren piece on sale on Poshmark! I love the super preppy buttons, plus it is 100% linen so it is light and airy even when temperatures aren't quite that cool yet. My favorite way to wear an oversized blazer is either over a tight dress or skinny jeans and a tank (since the jacket is oversized itself I try to stick with tighter items to pair it with to avoid frumpy-ness) Vintage St. John Cream V-Neck CardiganPoshmark, $18 (with shipping) St. John is a brand I alwaysss pick up when thrifting to resell. Some of the pieces are a little *old lady* for my taste but a sweater always bring in $50+! So you can imagine my surprise when I came across this cute, not so grandma-y sweater on Posh that was originally priced at $25, already a great deal! When the seller sent an offer to likers for only $12, I hit the "buy" button like lightning! These sweaters are originally in the $200-$400 range so I really hit the jackpot! I'm looking forward to spicing this cardigan up a bit with a lace bralette or a mini skirt. Double Breasted Camel Sweater JacketPoshmark, $12 (after shipping) Another great find! I'm loving this jacket because it is more of a light sweater material, which is good for SoCal when it is still gets warms during the day but chills down during the night. And I mean $6?? Steal!
Thanks so much for reading! I wanted to try something a little different for this blog post, and went through my closest trying to put together the cheapest + cutest outfit I could. I'm talking head to toe, bags, shoes, everything. And I came up with this little number! Everything I'm wearing in this photo is all together under $40 (minus the Apple watch... is that cheating :|) J. Crew Cross Front Tank [new, $8] Gap Skinny Ankle Pants [new, $15] Banana Republic Slip On Wedges [secondhand, $1] Forever 21 White Criss Cross Headband [new, $5] Hermes Crossbody Bag [secondhand, $6] Outfit Total: $35**To be noted...obviously the Apple Watch + Louis Vuitton bracelet were not included This top I got recently on our last trip to San Fran during a mall trip while hubs was busy working. J. Crew was having an additional 40% off clearance. I wish I had picked up more of this top in other colors because it is so comfy + really cute! This Gap skinny ankle pants are SUPER stretchy which is so appreciated (especially after meals) and they just go great with everything. They kind of give me retro vibes too! I had Gap cash which I used at the Gap outlet to get these extra cheap. The slip on wedges I've shared about before, but in case you missed that post, I picked them up at Goodwill for only $1 during a color tag sale day. They had zero wear on them so I am guessing someone picked them up and just let them sit in their closet before donating. I have had a lot of success with Banana Republic shoes lasting foreverrr so I was excited to find these and keep them for myself! I don't make a habit of shopping at Forever 21 (their clothes don't last one wash cycle!) but before we took our trip to The Netherlands earlier this year I wanted some cute wrap headbands that would double as ear covers because it was FREEZING. I've found I also love wearing these without the need for extra heat and they add a special, classic twist to my outfits. I still can't believe I found this Hermes bag the thrift for $6. Have I taken it in to be officially authenticated? No. Are the details perfect? Yes. I have decided to live in a fantasy world and just allow myself to believe it is authentic and I am just the luckiest girl in the world. HERE is a link to Hermes if you want to compare. Note the price tag!
