SoCal followers! I just recently discovered the Anaheim Packing House in the heart of dntn Anaheim, but since then we've visited this fun spot a number of times and it never disappoints! The building dates back to the early 1900s when it was a fruit packing house, but it has since been updated and modernized (hello giant rooster statues!) to house a number of fun pop-up style bars and restaurants with everything from a grilled cheese bar to a speak easy. Essentially, it is a high end, adult food court. I still have a number of places to try and foods to scarf, but I've linked a few of the delish spots I have tried so far! Keep scrolling! Zara Dress [new, $20], Banana Republic Wedges [secondhand, $15], Louis Vuitton Crossbody [secondhand, $100], Burberry Sunglasses [secondhand, $35] How beautiful is the inside?? Even there are so many spots to try, I couldn't help but come back to the Vietnamese joint Sawleaf Cafe. The pho is just too good (tip: I always ask for extra limes!), and the sweet potato fries are really the best I've tried anywhere (make sure to get the sauce on top!) Yummy Spots I have Tried, and links for you to check them out Yourself! Vietnamese fusion : Sawleaf Cafe Poutine (Canadian delicacy!): The Kroft BBQ and fried goodness: Georgia's Restaurant Good ol' ramen: Orange Tei Holy cotton candy! Thanks for reading, I just had to share this little gem if you are ever in the area!

Even though my birthday was a few months ago, I couldn't resist creating a #throwback post to all the fancy fun I got to have that day (and dish on the celebrity I totally fan-girled over :0)
Hi everyone! This weekend the hubby got to take his new love and side chick out on the race track for the first time, and we had such a blast! Saks 5th Ave t-shirt [new, $7], Gap button up [secondhand, $5], Levi jean shorts [new, $20], H&M hat [new, $15], H&M flats [new, $20] We woke up bright and early Sunday morning, and headed out to the Auto Club Speedway, a pretty legit race track in Fontana, CA that holds Nascar and such. That's my guy! Helmets mean serious business...he was hitting speeds upward of 140mph! He had four 20 minute heats, and for the last two I actually got to ride along! Eeeee scary but fun!
Make sure to follow the fun @fancyfreeblog on IG for more behind scenes pics and videos on my story! Thank you for reading! xo When most people think of Napa, they imagine vineyards and wine tastings. But when you get through the country, you will find the most photogenic downtown with the inspirations of a large city but a personable small town feel. I spent the day exploring this area of Napa with my mom, and we were incredibly awed! Faux fur sweater vest [new, $20], Banana Republic top [new, $10], Banana Republic jeans [new, $40], Gucci belt [secondhand, $25], Gucci flats [new, gift], Louis Vuitton crossbody [secondhand, $100], Gucci scarf [new, gift], Rayban wayfarers [new, gift] How charming is the First Street Bridge? Stretching over a (lower than usual) river (thanks CA drought), the bridge is lined with lamp posts and gives great views of the historic buildings. Pictures were a MUST. "What's that over there?" ;) We visited the Oxbow Public Market, an indoor market with a variety of vendors including fresh produce, a coffee shop, a butcher, and an oyster bar. High quality, clean, and a lot to offer. One word: SAMPLES. Once we got hungry, we headed over to central downtown and found Bounty Hunter Wine Bar & Smokin' BBQ. Right on the water, we could smell it before we saw it. I like wine and I love BBQ, so I was totally on board. Cajun shrimp wedge salad. Artistic AND delicious. :D We couldn't come home empty handed, so we picked up a few delicious treats from Kara's Cupcakes, a Bay Area bakery chain. Pro Tip: Coconut cupcake is WHERE IT IS AT. It was fun sharing such a memorable day with you all, and I look forward to sharing our next adventure within the next few days! Follow Fancy Free on IG (@fancyfreeblog) to see what I'm wearing, eating, and doing in real time! Hello lovelies! My husband and I had our 2nd annual end of the summer pool party this past weekend, and it was so so great to meet up with old friends we don't see as much now that we have moved outside of Los Angeles. Last year, we did the typical beer and wine refreshments, and this year I wanted to spice it up a bit! {C H A M P A G N E B A R} I saw this idea on buzzfeed, and decided I had to try for our party! I set up iced champagne, OJ, and a variety of fruits (I chose watermelon, raspberries, strawberries, and limes) I actually found this sign at Walmart under $2! (I would just like to say I am very rarely in Walmart...but I was so excited to find this little sign!) These glasses were 6/$4.99 at Ikea Overall it was a lot of fun, and I loved the idea! Next time, I plan on offering more juices (maybe watermelon, strawberry, etc.) Share your own fun party drink ideas in the comments below! I'm always looking for new cute ideas for acceptable day drinking. :D xo Sydney
