Happy Tuesday beauties! For this edition of save or splurge, I wanted to share my daily makeup routine to show where I like to spend a little more and where I like to save on makeup. In general, when it comes to products I put on my skin, I think it is important to use products with high quality ingredients, and ones that are tested ethically. Generally, this comes with a higher price tag. But not always! Enjoy the following video on my beauty routine breakdown, product prices, and where I got some great deals! :) Enjoy these types of posts? Let me know! Hello everyone! After my most recent trip to MAC to stock up on some goodies, I was asked by the associate, "Are you familiar with our recycling program?" And I was definitely not up on this very environmentally (and wallet!) friendly endeavor! my everday M.A.C. go to products: brow set and brow liner According to the MAC website, "because we share your commitment to the environment, MAC accepts returns of its primary packaging through the Back-to-MAC Program. By returning six [6] MAC primary packaging containers to a MAC counter or MAC Cosmetics online, you’ll receive a free MAC lipstick of your choice as our thanks to you." You can check out all the details of the program here. RECAP: Return 6 empty containers of any MAC product and receive a lipstick of your choice for free :D So let me get this straight...you get to help the environment AND receive free makeup for doing so?! Sign me up! Only wish I had known this sooner...I'd be up to a few lipsticks by now! xo Sydney
Hello lovelies! Over the weekend, the hubby got to take his new toy (Boss 302 Mustang) out for its first ever race/event/whatever since he bought it a month ago. We've been super excited for this, and I created a little video to document the day! (and of course my outfit and some food...) Enjoy! xo Sydney Hi lovelies! The hubby and I went out on a joy ride yesterday, and for a destination I had found a bakery via yelp with great reviews (love me some baked goods...) If you are ever in the Inland Empire area, I would have to highly recommend Mr. Baker & Cafe in Rancho Cucamonga! The store front was nothing special, but inside was absolutely magical! The decor was adorable, and the goods were even more so. They had so many options! (Possibly too many...) Cakes, cupcakes, cake balls (lots of cake), cookies, tarts, pastries, EVERYTHING. It definitely took a while for us to make a decision! (I mean our stomachs are only so big) We ended up going with a shortbread type cookie sandwich (filled with MORE chocolate), a strawberry macaroon (my personal fave), and a red velvet cake ball. All three were total perfection! How adorable, right?! ALMOST too pretty to drink. I had originally ordered my usual vanilla latte, but the barista suggested I try a vanilla cappuccino instead, and yeah, super delicious. New usual. Yeah we will definitely be back. Already know what I'm ordering. (Caramel cupcake, if you were wondering ;)) xo Sydney
Hi everyone! What an exciting weekend it has been! I woke up Friday morning not knowing what the day would hold, and before I knew it I was at the airport boarding a plane for Seattle! Again! We got in late late late Friday night, and stayed only until Sunday, but we definitely tried to pack in as much as we could! To shake things up a bit, I decided to make a fun little video of our adventures, instead of just sharing pics. I'm excited to get more into YouTube, and would love for any feedback. And if you feel so inclined, subscribing to my channel would ensure you would be totally up to date on all the new videos I upload! Enjoy!! xo Sydney |
