Happy almost Friday! So I'm sharing one of my favorite little secrets, because apparently a lot of people don't know how much it really offers! I've been using Groupon for years for restaurants, salon visits, hotels, shoes, jewelry, you name it. Companies are looking to get attention or drive business, and they usually offer really low prices to do so! A gel mani and pedi usually runs around $75. I found a Groupon for $39 at an adorable downtown salon (pictured above!), and with an additional 25% off promotion that was going on from Groupon (they happen, always wait for these!), I only paid $29 (minus tip) for a great salon day! Also, always make sure to ask if they are willing to extend the Groupon price to your next visits! Many companies want to build a loyal customer base this way, and that means savings for you.

Hello...from the Pacific Northwest! I woke up Monday morning like it was any other day, and a few hours later I was packing for a last minute getaway to Seattle! The hubby had a work trip, and I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to go with. The best part? My ticket was FREE. That's right folks. Bjorn travels so much for work, and he has been smart enough to fly consistently with one airline, South West. He is registered in their points system, and this has accumulated into thousands and thousands of points. Not only have we flown many times by trading in these points, but we recently reached companion pass status. Which basically means... I fly free with Bjorn. Everytime. UNTIL DECEMBER 2017. That is over a year of free flights you guys!! I love traveling so much for free (who doesn't?) that I have started exploring airline mile credit cards. Know a good one? Please let me know! I like first class, y'all.. The moral of this post is... don't be lazy! Register with those airlines, hotels, whatever! They add up, in a big way. Hello everyone! After my most recent trip to MAC to stock up on some goodies, I was asked by the associate, "Are you familiar with our recycling program?" And I was definitely not up on this very environmentally (and wallet!) friendly endeavor! my everday M.A.C. go to products: brow set and brow liner According to the MAC website, "because we share your commitment to the environment, MAC accepts returns of its primary packaging through the Back-to-MAC Program. By returning six [6] MAC primary packaging containers to a MAC counter or MAC Cosmetics online, you’ll receive a free MAC lipstick of your choice as our thanks to you." You can check out all the details of the program here. RECAP: Return 6 empty containers of any MAC product and receive a lipstick of your choice for free :D So let me get this straight...you get to help the environment AND receive free makeup for doing so?! Sign me up! Only wish I had known this sooner...I'd be up to a few lipsticks by now! xo Sydney
What do all these photos have in common...? eBay finds of course!! I've decided to start a new series where I share a quick tip every Thursday, aka Quick Tip Thursday! :) This weeks tips? Utilize the 'ending soonest' list sorting option in eBay. I typically have a list of items I am looking for, but I am waiting on the best deal. I love using the 'ending soonest' option because you would be surprised at how many sleepers go through eBay every day! This option will let you see if any items have gotten little attention and are about to end at an incredibly low price. Bid quickly and enjoy the fancy find! Have your own tips? Please share them below, or in the contact page above! xo Sydney
